The Rain Can't Stop Us

It rained again today, but that didn't stop us from doing everything we wanted to do today. Despite the rain we only took one taxi. Otherwise we walked everywhere, including to and from dinner (the restaurant was in the West Village about 45 blocks from our hotel). My legs are a little tired, but today was a really fun day.
Pictures #1-3: Brunch at Carnegie Deli. Ted ordered the Woody Allen, which is a combination of pastrami and corned beef. Needless to say, he did not finish the entire sandwich.
Picture #4: After brunch we went to the Guggenheim Museum. Amazing exhibits.
Pictures #5-8: After the museum we walked back to our hotel through Central Park. Along the way we saw lots of neat statues.
Pictures #9-10: This statue and flowers are at the south entrance of Central Park, about 5 blocks from our hotel.
Picture #11: We had dinner at Samba Sushi, a restaurant recommended by Ted's friend Davin. Very delicious meal.
Pictures #12-13: On our walk back to the hotel after dinner we saw this memorial for 9/11 victims.
