Rainy Day In New York City

It rained today. I was bummed at first, but we quickly realized the rain would not slow us down in the slightest. We took full advantage of the fact that Manhattan is a walking city, and we walked everywhere today. Fortunately our hotel is situated very close to many of the places we wanted to see. We started off the day with breakfast at Trump Towers, then we walked down 5th Avenue which has lots of high-end shopping (Tiffany, Prada, Gucci, etc.). After that we toured St. Patrick's Cathedral then headed to Rockefeller Plaza. One of our favorite shows is 30 Rock, so it was fun to actually see 30 Rockefeller Plaza. After that we walked through Grand Central Station on our way to the NY Public Library. Next we grabbed a quick bite to eat then went to Penn Station and caught a train to NJ to visit Ted's friend Davin, his wife and children, and some of their friends. We finally got back to our hotel around 10:30. It was a long day, but full of fun.
