Zero Months Old

Our friends Carolyn and Vince gave us a sticker set numbered zero through twelve that we can affix to a shirt or onesie to document Abigail's growth. Today I took her picture with the zero sticker in her onesie that reads, "Brand New." I tried to snap a picture when she was smiling, or at least not crying, but I was not successful.

The Thinker

This is one of Abigail's preferred poses while sleeping. I call her my little thinker.

Daddy's Little Girl

Ted took this picture while Abigail was sitting in his lap today. She was full, happy and sleepy right after being fed.

First Stroller Ride

Ted put Abigail's stroller together this morning so we could take her to the park in our neighborhood. We think Abigail enjoyed being in the stroller; she slept the entire time. It's nice we are more mobile now and can take Abigail for walks.

Mommy Adores Me

I do adore Abigail. I can't get enough of her; I'm sure I annoy her at times. She is less than two weeks old and she has already changed and grown so much.

It's Official

Today is Abigail's official due date. We are so glad that she decided to join our family a few days early.

Abigail received several bouquets of flowers from my coworkers. They certainly brighten up our house.

First Visit To The Pediatrician

We took Abigail to her first pediatrician appointment today. She loved the car ride and was sleepy and calm until the exams began.

Bringing Baby Home

We get to take Abigail home today! We had a wonderful experience at Cottage Hospital but it's time for us to head home and try to figure things out on our own.

And Baby Makes Three

Our daughter Abigail Grace was born today at 5:28 pm. She weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce and is 20 inches long. Healthy, happy and cute as a button.

A New Nano

Apparently there was a battery issue with the Ipod Nano that Ted purchased several years ago. This made us eligible to receive a free replacement Nano from Apple. We received our replacement Nano yesterday and it's just in time to take with us to the hospital so I can listen to music during the labor process.

Afternoon In Los Olivos

We had our carpets steam cleaned this morning and while they are drying we decided to head to Los Olivos for lunch.

Bad Teacher

Ted and I watched Bad Teacher this evening. I slept through half of the movie but the parts I did see were pretty funny.

Baby's First Ornament

My coworker Susie got Baby her first Christmas ornament. I'm a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh so it's perfect that it's Winnie and Piglet too.

Where The Wild Things Are And Curious George Too

More books for Baby! My friend Surangi and her husband Rob bought these books for Baby and it won't be long before we are reading these books to our daughter.

A Star Is Born

We are working on getting our daughter's room ready and this evening I placed the "A Star Is Born" pillow our friend Cynthia got for Baby.

My Bag Is Packed

Nursery In Progress

We've started moving things into the nursery. We still have a lot to organize and clean but at least we got started this weekend. I even washed some of baby's clothes so we have outfits to choose from to bring with us to the hospital.

Car Seat Installed

Ted installed the car seat in my car this morning. We still need to have it checked out by the police or highway patrol officers but we are one step closer to bringing baby home once she arrives.

Valentine's Day Outfit

Our daughter is going to be the best dressed baby with all of the beautiful clothes people keep giving her. This Valentine's Day outfit is a gift from my boss Sharon. The only unfortunate part is that babies grow so quickly so she won't be able to wear all of the wonderful clothes for very long.

Easter Outfits

My friend Ann got Baby these beautiful Easter outfits. Ann said she saw them in a store and couldn't resist buying them. I'm glad I'm not the only one with that problem.

Love And Other Drugs

Ted and I watched Love and Other Drugs this evening. It is a pretty standard romantic comedy but it does have a few elements that made it an interesting story.

Beautiful Baby Book

Ted picked out this adorable baby book during our shopping excursion last weekend. The picture is a bit dark and doesn't show just how cute the book is, but believe me it is adorable. Ted chose the perfect book.
