M&M's

I was met with a sweet surprise when Ted picked me up from work this afternoon in the form of these peanut M&M's he bought for me today.

Bell

My friend Cynthia emailed me these pictures of her daughter Maddie and Maddie's pig Bell. Bell has gained 80 pounds since March and is supposed to gain at least two pounds a day through July when she will be shown at the Santa Maria fair.

Blue Valentine

Ted and I were supposed to watch Blue Valentine today but we didn't. Perhaps we will get a chance to watch it tomorrow.

The Hangover Part Two

Ted and I saw The Hangover Part Two this afternoon and then had dinner at A.J. Spurs in Buellton. I can't remember the last time we went out for dinner and a movie. It was a big night for us.

Darcy

Ted was cleaning out his email account and came across this picture of my parents' dog Darcy. Darcy is a Labradoodle that joined our family about 4 years ago. He is now fully grown and it was cute to see a picture of him as a puppy.

2011 Heart Walk Kick-Off

My company is participating in the 2011 Santa Barbara Heart Walk in October so I attended the kick-off event this evening at the Savoy in Santa Barbara. I thought other people from my company were going to attend but they ended up not showing up so I didn't stay long.

Birthday Card For Me-Maw

My grandmother is turning 96 on June 2. Unfortunately I won't have the opportunity to visit her on her birthday so I mailed her this card today.

On The Edge

My coworker Heather is an instructor and a student at the Lompoc School of Dance and she invited me to their Spring Show. I attended the Sunday matinee performance and had a great time. There were dancers of all ages (3 and up) and several different dance styles (jazz, ballet, tap, and hip hop). I'm so glad I went and was able to support Heather and the arts in Lompoc.

Ted and I watched The Social Network this afternoon. I didn't really care for it and definitely don't think it was worthy of so many Oscar nominations.

Callie

Ted took Callie to the vet for a check up this morning and he snapped this picture of her in her carrier as she waited for Dr. Harris to check her out. According to Ted she was a very good girl and she didn't give Dr. Harris a hard time.

Sweet Treats

Danielle's husband Dave sent chocolate covered strawberries and champagne to our room on Saturday. It was a sweet surprise and the strawberries were delicious.

It was so nice in Palm Springs we hated to leave but since it's Sunday we had to head home today.

Fun And Sun In Palm Springs

Today was a picture perfect day in Palm Springs. Nicole, Danielle and I had a wonderfully relaxing day of great food, spa treatments, and hanging by the pool.
