Kind Neighbors

Our neighbor Winnie saw the firetruck and ambulance at our house yesterday and after I left in the ambulance she came over and let Ted know she would be happy to take care of Abigail if he needed to go to the hospital with me.  Fortunately Ted was able to stay home with Abigail while I was being treated in the ER, but it is comforting knowing that we have watchful, kind, and thoughtful neighbors who are willing to help us out if we need it.  Abigail and I stopped by to see Winnie this afternoon and to drop off this thank you card.

Lost Day

For the first day in the history of my blog I am not posting a picture.  I feel it is appropriate since I feel like this was a lost day for me.  It started by me waking up at 3:00 am with stomach pains and ended with me in the ER at 6:00 pm.  Everything in between is a blur of pain.   Fortunately they figured out what was wrong with me and I am on my way to recovery.

Abigail At Story Hour

Abigail and I attended story hour at the library this morning and as usual she had a great time.  She loves being around other kids and listening to the stories and the songs.

Lookout Point

Abigail and I met Jillian and her kids Mia and Thomas for a walk this afternoon.  We decided to walk up to Lookout Point.  It was a tough walk/climb but the views at the top were worth it.

Samsung Galaxy S3

I got a new phone today.  The Samsung Galaxy S3.  It's much more high tech than my previous phone.  Once I learn how to use all the fancy gadgets I know I'm going to love it.

Halloween Costume Option

Halloween costume option #1.  This is a hand-me-down duck outfit from cousin Zachary.  We tried it on last night and everything but the tights fit; they are too small.  It is a contender for Abigail's first Halloween costume.

La Purisima Mission

Ted, Abigail and I headed to the Lompoc Mission this morning to check out the animals.

My friend Cynthia gave Abigail this hot pink hat today.  It is perfect timing because we've been looking for a new hat for Abigail and now she has one.

The Hunger Games

Ted and I watched The Hunger Games last night.  I haven't read the books so I'm not 100% what all the fuss is about the series, but the movie was decent.  Decent enough for us to watch the next movie in the series when it comes out.

La Purisima Mission

We had a great time on our walk at the Mission.  It's a shame our car was being broken into while we were walking.
