I watched The Untold Story of Emmett Louis Till this evening. It is a heart-wrenching story, but to be perfectly honest I thought the documentary left much to be desired.

Happy Birthday Suzie!

Today is my sister's birthday. Unfortunately I was not able to see her today since we live 3000 miles apart, however I definitely sent lots of birthday wishes her way. I thought I would share a few pictures of my sister and me. The first two pictures were taken at my wedding in March 2008. The third picture was taken in February 2007 when I was visiting family in NC. Happy birthday, Suzie!

Norman

This flyer for the lost ferret, Norman, was in our mailbox when we got home this evening. It makes me so sad that Norman is lost and I hope his family finds him soon. I just hope I don't run across him because I am not particularly fond of ferrets. They are stinky!

Disaster Preparedness Kit

By far my favorite gift this Christmas is the disaster preparedness kit I received from Ted. Here I am holding up a roll of toilet paper and a light stick while modeling one of the face masks. Believe it or not this is exactly what I asked for.

Ted bought me a Borders gift card for Christmas. I made my first purchase the other day. I love new books.

Fuzzy Callie

I was trying to take pictures of Callie this evening but she wasn't having it. I call this picture "Fuzzy Callie" because she would not stay still long enough for me to take a good clear picture.

Hello 2009
