P.F. Chang's

I am participating in the P.F. Chang's 1/2 marathon in Phoenix, AZ on 1/17/2010. In the mail today I received a discount card for 15% off when I eat at P.F. Chang's. The closest one to where I live is about 80 miles away so I doubt I will make that trip anytime soon but it was a nice gesture by P.F. Chang's.

Stuff The Bus Toy Drive

One of my company's 2009 holiday projects is a toy drive. I am donating several of the toys and games I liked to play with as a child. Who doesn't like Candy Land and Chutes and Ladders?

Ted and I watched Away We Go last night. It was good but not quite as good as I had hoped. John Krasinski played his character very well.

A Whole Lotta Shopping At Vons

I received a $150 Vons gift card from my company today as a thank you for my hard work during the year. It's a bit random to get a gift card to a grocery store but I'll take it. $150 is $150.

Food Bank Santa Barbara County

This year my company is working with the Food Bank of Santa Barbara County for our holiday service project. After we collect food donations we will volunteer at the Food Bank packing boxes of food for families. A very worthwhile service project.

What is this you ask? Why it is a cloth to clean your glasses and sunglasses. My company's vision carrier sent a ton of them to my office to hand out to employees so I snagged a few for Ted and me.
