A Super Bowl Party Built For Two

I threw a Super Bowl party today and invited one person... my husband Ted. I bought all kinds of yummy junk food and we pigged out while watching the New Orleans Saints win the Super Bowl for the first time in the history of their franchise.

I Love A Good Rebate

I received a $100 rebate for purchasing a 1 year supply of Acuvue contact lenses. I wish they had sent a check instead of a debit card but $100 is $100.

Saletti's

Surprisingly we won a $50 gift certificate to Saletti's restaurant from Erik Krebs Automotive, where we take our cars for service. Apparently they have a drawing each month and this month Ted and I are the winners.

Pacific Ocean

A view of the Pacific Ocean on my drive north from Ventura to Goleta this morning. It's supposed rain any time so it's nice to see blue sky for a bit longer.

It was a beautiful day today so I treated myself to lunch at In-N-Out.

Frost/Nixon

I watched Frost/Nixon this evening. Great movie.

Axxess

My boss bought an Axxess discount book and she gave me the coupons for the restaurants in Lompoc. Alfie's Fish & Chips here we come.
