Santa Barbara Mission

I attended a meeting near the Santa Barbara Mission this morning and couldn't help but snap a shot of the beautiful building against a gorgeous blue sky. It was a shame I had to work today as it was a warm Spring day that was just begging people to play hookie.

The other CDs I ordered from Amazon arrived today. Two Paul Simon and two Pink Martini.

Hang On Little Tomato

I bought several CDs from Amazon last week and the first one arrived today. I love the title of this Pink Martini album. I'm not exactly sure what it means but I love the fact that someone came up with the title, Hang on Little Tomato. Besides having a fantastic title the music is great too.

June Weddings

My friend Pat's daughter is getting married in June and we received the wedding invitation on Monday. Lots of June weddings this year.

The Informant!

Ted and I watched The Informant last night. I didn't realize it was based on true events until after the movie started. Even though there were some funny parts the ads made it seem much funnier than it really was.

Easter Surprise

My coworkers Kitty and Ann passed out these Easter treats today. Yummy chocolate bunny.

Gu Brew

I was talking with Stacy, a new employee, on Monday and she mentioned she runs marathons so we got into a discussion about our preferred electrolyte drink and she mentioned Gu Brew. I've never tried it and she sent me a packet to sample. On a side note Stacy suggested we go running together. Seeing as how she has run 10 marathons, countless 1/2 marathons, and is a marathon coach I don't think so. She is way out of my running league.
