The Crazies

Ted and I watched The Crazies this evening. I had no idea what it was about before we watched it but I did enjoy the movie.

The Backyard Harvest

We have an orange tree and a lemon tree in our backyard and both produce more fruit than we need. Carolyn mentioned the Backyard Harvest program where they collect extra fruit and produce from your yard to donate to senior and low income families. What a great program.

Fun Treat

I treated myself to tabloid magazines today. I felt I deserved fun reading after all of the housework I did today.

Happy 4th Of July

Carolyn, Vince, and Ilaria came over to help us celebrate the 4th of July. Ted grilled delicious steak and chicken shish kabobs with lots of vegetables; they were scrumptious. After lunch we took Ilaria to the park to play. She especially enjoyed the slide and playing with sidewalk chalk.

Books... Finally

I've needed to go to the library for a few weeks and I finally went today. Now I have so many new books to read. I feel like I hit the jackpot.

Heart Walk Training Kickoff
