Low Score

I took an online health assessment today and my overall score is 49 out of 100. I thought for sure I would have scored over 50. Not so hot.

Card From A Friend

My fried Pat retired in November and moved to a new house in Jackson Hole, WY. Ted and I sent her a Kmart gift card as a retirement/housewarming gift. Yesterday we received this cute thank you card from Pat.

Solvang

Ted and I took advantage of the 80 degree weather and headed to Solvang for the afternoon. It was so lovely to walk around with the sun shinning and a warm breeze blowing. After a leisurely afternoon of window shopping we finished up with a fabulous dinner at Trattoria Grappolo in Santa Ynez. It's such a quaint restaurant and we always leave with our stomachs full and satisfied. Wonderful afternoon and evening with my husband.

A Single Man

Ted and I watched A Single Man this evening. I am a big fan of Colin Firth and have heard good things about this movie. It was good but the pacing was a bit slow for me. Despite the slow pacing we still enjoyed the movie.

Getting Ready For Monterey

Ted and I are going to Monterey in a few weeks and I did some research today about things to do while we are there. I printed a map of the aquarium and a map of a walking tour of Monterey Bay. Should be lots of fun.

Nintendo Game Boy

Ted bought me this Game Boy several years ago. The main reason he bought it is because I love Super Mario Brothers. I haven't played in a while and I got it out this evening and played Super Mario Brothers, Frogger, and Super Mario 3. Fun times.

Bruno And Bumps

Bruno and Bumps are the featured animals for February in my ASPCA calendar. I enjoy the pictures and reading their heartwarming rescue stories. I'm so glad Ted and I support the ASPCA. They do some phenomenal work for animals.
