Going Old School

Ted recently bought these two books to read and I decided to take a break from my Kindle and read them. As much as I love my Kindle, and I really truly do, it is nice to read the old school way.

Anniversary Dinner

Last night Ted and I had dinner at Stella Mare's to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. We had a delicious meal and the service was impeccable. It was a wonderful ending to a beautiful day.

Play Date

Carolyn and Ilaria invited me over for a girls play date today. The weather was beautiful and they took me to their neighborhood park to play. Ilaria was her super cute self and I really appreciate they invited me over.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps

Ted and I watched Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps this evening. It wasn't as good as the original Wall Street (1987) but for a sequel it was pretty good.

Gerber Daisies

I had to post a picture of these colorful Gerber daisies Veronica gave me for my birthday. Veronica is a member of the housekeeping staff that works for my company. She is so sweet and she buys flowers for many employees on their birthday. I asked her when her birthday is so we can help celebrate her birthday and return her kind gestures.

Recording For The Blind And Dyslexic

This afternoon I volunteered at the Santa Barbara office of Recording For The Blind And Dyslexic with several coworkers. After learning about the organization and the work they do we had the opportunity to head into the recording booths and try our hand being monitors, who manage the recording equipment, and readers. I appreciate that my company made this opportunity to volunteer available for employees.

Scavenger Hunt Part Two

As if yesterday wasn't enough, my friend Kitty outdid herself by continuing the scavenger hunt today. It was so thoughtful and creative of Kitty and Ann to plan a scavenger hunt for my birthday and it helped make my birthday very special.
