W.

Ted and I watched W. last night. Josh Brolin did a phenomenal job portraying George W. and absolutely deserved an Oscar nod for his performance.

Pretty As A Peacock

I bought this wallet at a boutique in Asheville last week. The bright colors of the peacock's feathers really caught my eye.

Cute Kamryn

My sister's friend Samantha's daughter Kamryn was the flower girl in Suzie's wedding. She was so excited that she got to walk down the aisle behind me and in front on Suzie. She did a fantastic job and was so sweet. She kept asking to take a picture with me so Ted took this picture of us. Kamryn is such a cutie.

Suzie Got Married!

My sister and Quincy got married today! The ceremony was held at Lake Eden in Black Mountain, NC and the reception was held at Magnolias in Asheville, NC. It was a beautiful day and a gorgeous setting. Suzie looked beautiful and I hope that their wedding day was all they dreamed it would be.

Biltmore House

Ted and I really enjoyed touring the Biltmore house and gardens today. It is such an impressive property. It's hard to believe it was built by George Biltmore in the late 1800s when he was a bachelor. Who could possibly ever need that much space? After an audio tour of the house Ted and I spent time walking through the gardens and the conservatory. A great way to spend a Friday.

My grandmother turned 95 today and I'm so glad I was in town and got to spend the day with her.
