Our neighbor Winnie saw the firetruck and ambulance at our house yesterday and after I left in the ambulance she came over and let Ted know she would be happy to take care of Abigail if he needed to go to the hospital with me. Fortunately Ted was able to stay home with Abigail while I was being treated in the ER, but it is comforting knowing that we have watchful, kind, and thoughtful neighbors who are willing to help us out if we need it. Abigail and I stopped by to see Winnie this afternoon and to drop off this thank you card.
