We left for Playa del Carmen, Mexico on Sunday morning. We had a bit of trouble checking in- for a few minutes it appeared they did not have our reservations- after a small panic we got that cleared up and we were on our way. The flight was pleasant and uneventful. When we got to the Cauncun airport we went to pick up our rental car. It was actually a little bit more of a hassle than we had anticipated. They tried to sell us something, although we're not 100% sure what they were selling (I think it is timeshare property). Once we finally got out of there it was smooth sailing to our resort. We were happy to check in to the beautiful resort at the end of a long travel day.
*Ted very smartly brought a laptop on our trip, so I will be able to keep up with my blog during our trip. These pictures were taken on 10/12/2008 although I did not have the chance to post them until today.
