My company received the Fit-Friendly Company designation from the American Heart Association (AHA) today. The Fit-Friendly Companies program recognizes employers who support the health of their employees and work to create a culture of physical activity and health in the workplace. My company was recognized for the health and wellness initiatives we've put in place over the last year. The Executive Director of the Central Coast Division of the American Heart Association presented this plaque to the CEO during our staff meeting today. We have a lot more we would like to do in the way of wellness initiatives at my company but it is nice to have our current efforts recognized.
